Vince Power announced as Ambassador for South East European Capital of Culture 2020 Bid

Music festival mogul Vince Power has come on board as a Bid Ambassador for the Three Sisters 2020 – the partnership of the cities and counties of Waterford, Wexford and Kilkenny whom are preparing a joint bid for the 2020 title of European Capital of Culture.
 
Having grown up in Kilmacthomas in County Waterford and moved to London aged 15 to build a music empire Vince opened the live venue, ‘The Mean Fiddler’ and has hosted acts such as Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, The Pogues and Christy Moore at the venue over the years. Vince is hailed for transforming the landscape of the now ubiquitous festival circuit along with his interests in Spanish music landmark, Benicassim and running burgeoning nightspot, The KPH, in London’s Ladbroke Grove.
